How plans work
Commercial use and attribution
The Developer plan is free for non-commercial use and does not require a credit card. Free use must credit and link to Watchmode.com wherever its data is displayed. Startup, Business, and Enterprise are for commercial use and do not require attribution.
Countries
Paid plans include streaming sources in 54 countries. The Developer plan includes streaming sources in up to 3 countries. Live sports and events cover the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. Business and Enterprise add all available event dates, full schedule downloads, a US TV guide, and local channels by US TV market. The free plan includes a sample of up to 25 events, and Startup includes the past 7 days through the next 7 days. The regions endpoint lists every supported country, and the live TV docs describe the sports and guide data.
Monthly credits
Catalog requests and live sports and events share one monthly credit allowance: 2,500 on Developer, 40,000 on Startup, and 100,000 on Business. Monthly credits are not a per-minute request limit. Some calls cost more than one credit. Live event sources cost 2 credits per requested country, and each full schedule download page costs 10 credits. Endpoint prices and the rate-limit headers (X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-Account-Quota, and X-Account-Quota-Used) are in the Account section of the docs.
Billing
Upgrades start after you pay the full monthly price difference. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at your next renewal, and you can cancel anytime. Changing plans does not reset credits already used in the current quota cycle. Paid subscribers can keep Watchmode data stored in their own systems while the subscription is active. Developer-plan users should refresh or delete cached data within 30 days. Every account must delete stored data if it cancels. The Terms & Conditions have the full wording.
Enterprise
Enterprise is a custom credit volume. There is no self-serve price. Contact sales for a quote. The plan includes the Business features plus bulk datasets via Amazon S3 or sFTP.
